Don't be put off by 3D-printed products being weak and fragile.  This can be the case with poorly designed and poorly printed items that have not had time and care put into them to make sure they make strong functional parts.  This subject I could write a full blog on but for these hold-down pins I have designed these to be printed so the layer lines give the strongest print for the aplication.  So these come as a folding pin with a locating pin to hold them perminently in place when snaped together.
