The laser cut balsa and ply parts make it easy and fun to build, and you only need a minimum of materials to finish. Plans are available directly from the designer, Chris Foss, who also designed the popular WOT4 model. For building plans please contact Chris Foss he will sell you a set of plans for this model.
We are proud to present the WOT-KNOT radio-controlled model aircraft. This was first designed in the late 1970s by Chris Foss, the maker of many iconic model aircraft, including the famous WOT4. I don't know of many model aircraft flyers who have not owned or flown one of these at some point in their lives!
The WOT-KNOT was an early design by Chris, who never made it a kit just a plan, and it has remained that way for all this time until now!
We have been permitted to kit this lovely model and give it the glory it deserves. Being a Chris Foss design you know it will fly well and be fun to build.
Here at Future Crafts, we have converted the original plan to laser-cut files for accurate reproduction and ease of construction. The kit or individual parts are available to order in our shop (see below). Also, a custom-made vacum-formed canopy is available from Vortex Vac Forms and priced @ £12.00 inc postage. We also stock a few if you want it included with one of our short kits or as a single purchase.
Balsa Cabin can supply Balsa and other wood for completing the build, and this is our preferred supply for all our Wot Knot kits
